Le dernier Jung dans la salle d'analyse
Résumé
In the last decades, historical research contributed to recover an important part of Carl Gustav Jung’s (1875-1961) literary work. Still unknown texts were published. Moreover, we are still awaiting for further unpublished writings and even, for a more complete edition of his Collected Works. This article highlights the significance and the newness of a historical approach to Jung’s work. In particular, this is evident for the clinical aspects of his labor, which can be now partially rediscovered through excerpts from his patients’ “analytical diaries”, private reports, unpublished correspondences, and personal documents. These newly rediscovered materials shed light on Jung’s psychotherapeutic approach in the age of his “analytical maturity” (in particular, from the 1930’s to the early 1960s).
