Transparency as Immanence. Post-Colonial Un/seeing of Indigenous Presence
Abstract
In this paper, transparency is considered to reside in the object/subject of investigation, as an intrinsic way of being, or being perceived. This particular idea of transparency as immanence is especially consistent with Australian colonial and postcolonial history, and is brought into view, and effectively questioned, by Indigenous literary writing.
