Talking fashion between television, dress up games and fashion bloggers
Abstract
The essay is devoted to fashion communication and its changes due to digitalization processes. Starting from the centrality of fashion bloggers and influencers who have taken on the field of fashion communication, the essay focuses on a particular area of contemporary media scenario that have close links with the word of fashion blogger and influencers: makeover and factual television and online dress up games. As well as in their relationship with fashion communication, the essay explores these cultural products in a historical perspective that links them with other products that somehow have anticipated them (think on fashion and paper dolls), and it investigates them in a critical perspective that places them within neo-liberalism.
